It’s almost 2025, and apparently, you’re still the problem.
At least, that’s what I keep hearing from women in the sports industry (and other male-dominated industries).
“The system needs to change!” they say.
“It’s the system’s fault!” they shout.
And I get it.
Blaming you is easy.
You’re big. You’re faceless. You don’t fight back.
But, System, I have to be honest with you.
𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭.
Because while everyone’s pointing at you…
👉 They’re not speaking up in meetings.
👉 They’re not applying for that role until they feel “100% ready.”
👉 They’re not negotiating their salaries or setting clear boundaries.
Instead, they’re waiting for you to change.
But here’s the plot twist: You’re not going to that easily, are you?
You’re stubborn like that. (And honestly, I get it.)
Because you’re not the big scary monster they make you out to be.
You’re just a collection of old habits, unspoken rules, and outdated beliefs.
So while they’re busy drafting petitions for your “reform,”
I’ll be busy playing the game differently:
🔥 I keep challenging you – showing up and speaking up.
🔥 I play the game on my terms.
🔥 And I’m inspiring and teaching other women who are ready to do the same – one move at a time.
So no, I’m not here to wait for you to change.
I’m here to create a ripple effect.
One woman. One move. One shift at a time.
And guess what happens when women stop following those rules?
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭.
Step by step.
Rule by rule.
Habit by habit.
Not because you “decided” to change.
But because you had no choice but to adapt.
Sincerely,
A woman who stopped waiting
p.s.1 If you could break one rule of ‘the system’ today, what would it be?
p.s. 2 Done waiting and ready to play it differently as well? Let’s talk about your next move.
